Director, Supply Chain Management Market Owner, Life Sciences & Healthcare (LS&H)The Senior Director, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Market Owner will be responsible for driving the market strategy of our pharmaceutical SCM product portfolio across the Clarivate customer portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Markets, this individual will develop and own our approach to the SCM market, working with product, marketing, and sales teams. This role requires a deep understanding of the market for pharmaceutical SCM data and applications.In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of entrepreneurial Life Sciences industry and technology leaders, who, together, are bringing the next generation of innovative SCM applications to the life sciences industry.This position can be performed remotely or near any US Clarivate office.What will you do in this role?Continuously research the SCM segment on behalf of Clarivate and its product portfolioSet the market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Clarivate's SCM product portfolioProvide business and technology guidance to the product team, serving as a thought partner in product strategy and roadmap developmentProvide thought leadership and sales support to teams driving the adoption of our SCM product portfolioAdvise the Consulting organization to support product adoptionPresent at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for industry publicationsRepresent Clarivate to relevant policy & advocacy industry associationsRepresent LS&H in internal forums to coordinate external relations with policy and advocacy organizationsIdentify relevant external forums for engagement and coordinate with relevant LS&H subject matter expertsOther special projects as assignedAbout You- Experiences, education, skillsBachelor's degree, MBA or relevant degree7+ years of experience building, selling or buying enterprise technology solutions in pharmaceutical SCM marketsHistory of success in market strategy, GTM strategy, or sales roles at an organization that ships successful enterprise software products in the Life Sciences & Healthcare marketTrack record of thought leadership through industry presentations or publicationsThe successful candidate will demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:Deep understanding of SCM data & software industry trendsAbility to hold meaningful conversations with heads of pharmaceutical supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and manufacturing/SCM IT regarding product introduction, adoption, and scalingExceptional written and oral communication skillsAbility to travel 10-15% for customer meetings and presentationsAbility to work effectively in a global matrix organizationDESIRED IMPACTIn addition to responsibilities ownership and consistent demonstration of required competencies, success in this role relies on the achievement of the following milestones, goals and/or contributions.Short term (within 3 Months)Complete new-hire onboardingEstablish strong a regular cadence with your counterparts in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, FinanceDevelop a strong understanding of each component of the product portfolio and the markets they serveUnderstand why some customers adopt each product and others do notCreate an environment that supports productivity and understand your role to ensure it(By 6 Months)Publish a set of Market Requirements Documents that cover all products in the SCM portfolio, covering topics such as: TAM/SAM, unmet market needs, incumbents, buying personas, decision making processes, and decision making unitsThis is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.The expected base salary for this position is $180,000 - $225,000 USD per year.This role is eligible for additional bonus earnings of 20% annually plus equity.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.In addition to a competitive remuneration package, you will be eligible to participate in a benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drug, life insurance, 401k with match, long term disability coverage, vacation, sick time, volunteer time, discount programs, and many more.Clarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
