We believe that wherever learning flourishes so do people.Principal UX DesignerWe are looking for a Principal UX Designer with a portfolio rich in engaging marketing and eCommerce solutions, complemented by a process effectively communicated through presentation and storytelling.Key AccountabilitiesDriving Design Excellence: By performing research, journey mapping, wireframing, and crafting high-fidelity design solutions.Prototyping and Validation: Take charge of designing and presenting high-fidelity solutions, and/or prototype for validation and feedback, ensuring a robust and user-centric approach.Smooth Hand-off and Oversight: Transition validated designs seamlessly to development teams, overseeing the implementation phase for alignment with the envisioned design.Mentoring and Leadership: Informally guide and mentor junior designers, sharing best practices, processes, and methodologies to help support their growth.Research: Experience leading and facilitating design research, design sprints & ideation sessions.User Advocacy and Quality Assurance: Champion user needs throughout the design process, consistently advocating for high-quality, user-centric solutions.Collaborative Integration: Collaborate actively with your design peers to ensure seamless integration of your work within our broader ecosystem.Exceptional Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication, self-management, organizational, and presentation skills to effectively convey and advocate for design concepts.Positive Collaborator: Embrace a highly collaborative nature, fostering a positive mindset that contributes to a dynamic team environment.Knowledge & ExperienceMinimum of 8-10+ years’ experience in a Senior Individual Contributor role.Very hands-on: A principal-level thinker who is exceptionally fast with Figma.Excitement: Driven to create something exceptional.Attention to detail: Ability to balance accuracy and efficiency.Experience working autonomously and leading independent initiatives.Strong design point-of-view and comfort challenging personal opinions.Ability to translate conceptual thinking into tangible design solutions.Effective communication of ideas and design decisions.Craftsperson: Strong skills in UX/UI, proficient in Figma and design prototyping tools.Experience in marketing and eCommerce experience design.Experience contributing to established design systems/design language.Experience collaborating directly with engineers and product managers in a fast-paces environment.We’re excited to hear from candidates of all experience levels: Don’t worry if you don’t tick every box – some of our best fits surprise us. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
