Aquarion Water Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eversource.Job SummaryThe Coordinator, Corporate Communications is responsible for providing a wide diversity of administrative support services to several functional areas such as Corporate Communications, and Business Development. This position will also provide backup support to the Executive Assistant during absences. Being a team player is a must.Principal Responsibilities+ Provide general administrative services in support of the Corporate Communications and Business Development functions.+ Support Corporate Communications with special projects such as fulfilling customer requests for conservation kits, managing mailings, contributing to both external/internal website projects, and performing other administrative duties as needed.+ Code invoices for processing and prepare and receive purchase orders and requisitions, including proper receipt of goods as well as p-card processing.+ Support Corporate Communications by collaborating closely with the Digital Communications Manager to draft website and social media copy, developing creative content aimed at educating and engaging customers.+ Perform standard administrative functions such as making copies, prioritizing mail, maintaining department records, arranging internal and external meetings, scheduling and arranging events and luncheons, and coordinating travel and hotel reservations along with itineraries.+ Problem solving skills: problems can be non-routine and require independent thinking.+ Must be able to work and resolve issues independently with minimal guidance from management.+ All other administrative services as required.Preferred Requirements+ Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent project management skills.+ Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and SharePoint Online. SAP knowledge is preferred.+ Must have strong writing and editing skills in order to effectively manage correspondence with internal and external customer and vendors.+ Excellent communication skills.
