The Director, Solution Designer leads and manages our efforts to refine and designing program-based solutions for our clients and prospects. This role will act as a subject matter expert and voice of Maritz relative our point of view, industry knowledge, and/or specialty as it pertains to our channel solutions.
Proposal
Development/Presentation
70% :
Writes proposals for business opportunities, working closely with Solution Sales. Applies thought-leadership and Point of View to develop program concepting, recommendations and proposal packaging. Builds responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal requiring advanced solution design thinking and positioning. Provides creative solution design expertise for ongoing programs. Designs rules structure for programs. Interacts with client contacts on industry trends. With Solutions Sales, drives capabilities presentations and explains Maritz' value proposition to prospective clients. Often accompanies Solution Sales and Account Manager on client stand up presentations. Should be fluent in our channel technology and capable of demoing. Provides input to product team on enhancements.Consulting and Strategic Focus 20%:
Provides industry, company and product consultation to a variety of internal and external audiences as it pertains solution design POV for the channel solutions area. Provides consultative solution program design resources to support pre-sales, launch, post-sale, and support phases to other areas of the company that may need this shared service knowledge around sales programs. May also integrate across other Maritz Business Units (BU) for cross-BU client solutions ensuring alignment on voice and Point of View.Thought Leadership 10%:
Provides internal and external thought leadership for Maritz Solution families and commercialization of the same. May author white papers, newsletters, and blogs regarding area of subject matter expertise and/or solution design. Stays abreast of related industry trends and developments and applies learnings in solution development.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field required; Master's degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
Five to seven years in a Solutions Strategist project management role working with products and/or services preferred; or prior successful experience as a Solutions Specialist; or other similar Maritz experience.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of channel loyalty, sales incentives, and rewards strategy. Possesses a solid understanding and demonstrable experience in strategy development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
