Meet the team:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Manager, Public Relations

to join our expanding global communications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive public relations strategy that supports business objectives for both consumers and healthcare providers. They will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing public relations campaigns that drive positive company and product perception while fueling customer acquisition and retention.

Where you come in:You will coordinate and manage external PR and communications agencies.You will execute tasks in support of comprehensive public relations plan that supports business objectives for both consumers and healthcare providers.You will identify and develop storylines that support business priorities and/or communicate the company's technology and innovation leadership.You will develop and manage a one-of-a-kind ambassador program.You will coordinate with social media lead to execute strategy for engaging with influencers and KOLs.You will support industry conference media strategy including executive media briefings and targeted reporter outreach.You will draft and shepherd news releases and announcements through review committee process.You will support efforts to strengthen brand reputation and be prepared to support crisis or issues management communications, as necessary.

What makes you successful:You have 7+ years experience in corporate communications, public relations or media relations (agency or in-house).You have healthcare industry experience (additional tech and/or consumer packaged goods experience is a plus).You have product-PR experience (e.g. product launches, milestone and partnership announcements).You have experience in supporting corporate communications programs, events and platforms.You have excellent communication, messaging and storytelling skills.You are a strong writer with proofreading and editing proficiency; writing samples required.You have project management skills; organized with a high-level of attention to detail.You have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to build and develop relationships.You have exceptional talent with managing a high volume of work in compacted timelines with multiple priorities, simultaneously.

Travel Required:15-25%

Experience and Education Requirements:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of industry experience2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Remote Workplace:

Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
