Position Overview

As a

Lead User Experience Designer

for Navistar, you:Will lead and mentor your UX team.Will have a deep understanding of the business and user needs.Will set the vision and strategy for your UX team.Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that UXdesign is aligned with the overall business goals.Your role will be to lead user-centered design in your service’s digital layer so that it delivers its intendedbusiness, customer and user benefits. When your team completes an effort, you will be able to show that it improved performance and outcomes against standard UX metrics and/or your service segment’sKPI’s and OKR’s.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:Lead, execute, present and report on your design team’s work outcomes.Recommend and drive appropriate design activities for a given need.Mentor, review/approve your design team’s work from journey to spec.Support Design Ops standardizing best methods, practices and assetsBe the UX design owner and driver for your service segment.Own the journeys across your service.Lead, set the vision and strategy for, and mentor your UX team.Develop a deep understanding of your product’s business and user needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design is aligned with overall businessgoals, the design system, and user-validated useful and usable - even delightful.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years of software engineer experienceORMaster’s degreeAt least 3 years of software engineer experienceORAt least 7 years of software engineer experience

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
