The Art Director will have proven expertise capturing and designing high quality content for numerous media, including photography, video, motion, and 3D. As an Art Director, you're a conceptual thinker and storyteller who can visualize ideas in new and innovative ways. You have a passion for concept creation, design, product and art direction.We are looking for someone who recognizes the value of well-crafted design – and can take briefs and insights and turn them into powerful visuals that drive impact. The person in this position will be working in a real-time and fast paced environment as part of an in-house team. You will join a close-knit group of creatives to create modern, fresh, innovative and distinctive content.Collaborate to deliver quality, on-brand, designed content to provide a best-in-class customer experience and help drive revenue growth for our business across digital globallyIdeate and execute flawless content assets and product creativePartner with colleagues and partners for product launches and featured digital contentConcept design treatments and overarching style guides while executing to produce content assets across marketsPartner with digital teams to create brand-approved, innovative, engaging and informative product/feature content including static visuals, videos, motion graphics, 3D, and morePartner with Product, Digital, Marketing, and Engineering teams to develop innovative content delivering on current and future industry trendsRaise the bar for creative design, development and executionProvide constructive, actionable feedback to designers and teamsSupport your designs using insights including data, rationale, site metrics, and user feedbackEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetDevelop conceptual detailed visual mockups to communicate high-level design strategiesPresent to business, design, and executive-level leadership and support your design rationale using quantitative data and site metrics, customer feedback, and usability findingsThinks deeply about the user experience balanced with business goalsYou'll have...Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience5+ years of professional experience in a graphic or visual design role, either in-house for an established global brand or at an established agencyPortfolio of work demonstrating ability to create customer experiences across a range of touch-points as well as proficiency in UI and interaction design with case studiesEven better, you may have...Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, typography, and graphic file creation optimized for digitalExperience implementing design across digital including mobile, desktop, app, social, and webExperience collaborating with creative and technical teamsExperience managing multiple design projects, requests, and scheduling in a fast-paced environmentManaging workflows, agency partnerships, vendor management, and complex design tasksExperience collaborating with creative and technical teamsAstute attention to detail and an acute awareness that every detail countsUse and mastery of Adobe Creative Suite design software (including Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator), and Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.Use and understanding of 3D render design, motion design, and video asset creation tools (including Unreal (UE), Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, AE, CapCut, etc. and/or equivalent)Master’s degree in UX/Interaction/Product Designer/Visual Design working across a breadth of digital media or a combination of education and equivalent experienceAbility to create photorealistic 3D CG content, Unreal, etc.Experience working on virtual production setsExpert visual design acumen demonstrated through owning product design end-to-end.Ability to create interactive experiences with prototyping software.Exposure to Agile/Lean methodologiesUnderstanding of modern front-end technologies and frameworksDesire to thrive in a fast-moving environment!You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
