Then consider joining the Legislation and Communications team at the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) as a Multimedia/Communications Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA). In this role, you will perform a variety of activities supporting the Department’s graphic design, marketing, and digital communications needs.We are seeking a candidate who is artistic and technically savvy with proven experience creating marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, social media campaigns and website updates. Under the direction of the Public Information Officer II, you will assist with creation, management and maintenance of collateral used to market and promote DOR services, consumers, and the work of DOR staff; in addition to collaborating with external stakeholders, partners and community-based organizations on messaging, events and other activities related to DOR. You will also provide administrative support and manage vendor service provider accounts.Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media and outreach campaigns, communications, journalism, public relations, television, and radio production and/or graphic design. The ideal candidate possesses professional experience with video and photography equipment, and familiarity with audio software and equipment.This position does qualify for telework with the office designation as Sacramento-Central Office. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Office of Legislation and Communications and is based on DOR’s evolving telework policy. DOR supports telework, recognizing thatin-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions.
