Collaborating with engineering and marketing partners, this role is responsible for the development of digital product platforms and systems. Proven Human Centered Design (HCD) skills are required to define and design appropriate UX, function, aesthetic, usable, and quality solutions.The Principal Interaction Designer plays a central role in planning and leading user observation research, synthesis, and prioritization of insights. With experience in techniques such as empathic interviewing, journey maps, user vignettes, information architecture, cognitive evaluation, wireframes and interaction patterns, successful candidates will bring a variety of approaches to the product development process. The Principal Interaction Designer is responsible for delivering compelling user interface design solutions that deliver meaningful value to our customers. Merging an understanding of user and business needs, successful candidates should have the technical and management skills to lead the definition and development of UX solutions. Our strongest candidates should be familiar with trends in digital design and technologies while bringing a strategic approach to insight gathering and creative problem solving. Applicants should demonstrate proven design leadership and mentorship skills.+ Lead UX activities: user research, information architecture, conceptual design, prototyping, detailed graphic design, usability testing, and implementation.+ Mentor and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to define clinical problems, user needs and product/feature definitions.+ Lead UX Design reviews within cross functional team+ Collaborate with leadership to identify new opportunities that improve our methods, tools, processes, and strategies.+ Research and showcase knowledge of the industry’s latest trends, technologies, and best practices.+ Navigate and influence the Intellectual landscape for filings and protection.+ Develop and influence invention disclosures, patents or trade secrets.+ Collaborate with software teams to ensure implementation of design direction.+ Create, update, and communicate primary design documentation and guidance.+ Responsible for managing external vendors.+ Responsible for evolving our creative culture throughout the design community.**What you will need:**_Minimum Qualifications_ :+ Bachelor's degree in User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, Interaction Design or related discipline.+ 8+ years of relevant experience as a UX or Interaction Designer including 3 years of experience leading/development teams and projects.+ A portfolio that demonstrates your work on commercialized products._Preferred Qualifications_ :+ Expertise in Adobe CS, Figma, QML are a must.
