At runDisney, every mile is magic.As a Marketing Strategy Manager with runDisney, you’ll be part of a growing team of passionate, strategic thinkers. This role’s primary responsibility will be leading go-to-market planning for onsite and virtual events, driving direct and strategic revenue and leads.
You’ll report to the Senior Marketing Strategy Manager, runDisney.You Will:
Lead the creation of strategic roadmaps and integrated communications plans for 8 core onsite and virtual events.
Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to develop innovative marketing communications strategies and tactics that drive demand for, and sales of, our core events.
Regularly monitor sales pacing and recommend and implement contingency plans to address market softness, as needed.
Think strategically and make decisions based on data, business needs and Guest experience.
Lead the development of after-action reviews through research and analysis, including measurements, results, and actionable insights to inform future growth strategy.
Collaborate with partners to create and maintain timely, compelling communications around key moments in the race lifecycle, including but not limited to complex website “flips,” theme reveals, registration dates and operational messages.
Serve as a steward of the brand, ensuring strong product positioning in alignment with consumer insights and trends, Disney differentiators, and business needs.
Provide thought partnership and recommendations for synergistic marketing integrations with other runDisney teams, including those who lead Sponsorships, Groups and Charities, Race Event Operations, and the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
Consult on the development, roll-out and up-sell of ancillary products and merchandise.
Lead brand and content creation efforts leveraging graphic designers, copywriters, and broadcast/film and social media partners.
Review and provide strategic feedback on captured footage to ensure brand/legal compliance.
You Have:
5+ years’ experience in marketing strategy or related field
Experience leading and executing Roadmaps, ICPs and CRM tactics
Experience working with multiple marketing channels including CRM, digital media, website, social, search, PR, print, outdoor and collateral
Experience building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results
Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with senior executives
Strong eye for detail and organizational skills, with ability to manage high volumes of complex information with ease
Proficient in Keynote or PowerPoint
Required Education:Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, or related field
