Reporting to the Manager of the RoundGlass India Center, the Center is currently hiring a Design and Media Production Coordinator. As the Center is funded through a generous gift from the RoundGlass Foundation, all staff positions within the Center are contingent upon continued external grant funding.Position Responsibilities Include:Social Media Management:Generate and curate social media content on a regular schedule to engage internal and external audiences, especially those interested in India and the diaspora (includes LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X)Digital and Print Design:Use Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools to produce Center’s branding and informational materials in diverse media formats, including digital (emails, e-invitations, graphics, presentation slides, registration pages, scripts, videos) and print (brochure, promotional displays, reports)
Website Management:Learn and master T4 web editor skills to manage Center website within the Seattle University system.
Podcast Production:Work with Executive Director to produce A Law in Common: India and the United States podcast from end-to-end, including early stages of scriptwriting and layout to final stages of production and editing.Manage Contact Lists:Maintain up-to-datefiles of various audiences and followers to track our audiences and supporters foreach type of event or publication.QualificationsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications, Design,English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field and minimum of 3-5 years ofdirectly related work experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong project management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills and experience with planning and implementing projects for different groups and audiences.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Teams, SharePoint, and use of the Internet.Experience managing and creating communications material including publications, graphic design, print, web, social media, special events, etc.Demonstrated ability to work on a team and perform a variety of tasks, including administrative ones.Ability to work with a diverse constituency and demonstrated ability to work with diverse staff at all levels of an organization.Desired Qualifications:Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tool.Experience in professional marketing, writing, and project management, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit setting.Understandingof India and diaspora a plus.Application Instructions:Please attach a cover letter with three recent examples of media/design work when applying. Salary Range: $60,000 - $67,000
Seattle University has provided a compensation range that representsits good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at thetime of posting.
